Privacy is a concern to most Internet users. VisitSweden is aware of, and sensitive to, the privacy concerns of our customers. VisitSweden collects information about users in three ways:
• Traffic data
• Information provided by you
Each time a visitor enters swedishmoments.se information is collected about your domain name / IP address, referring URL, browser and platform, time of visit, pages visited and searches performed.
Aggregated traffic data may be shared with potential advertisers, research firms, and business partners for demographic purposes. When used in this aggregated form no one will be able to identify or contact you.
Use of pixel tracking (non-personal data)
VisitSweden occasionally uses pixel tracking. Pixel tracking entails that your visit to swedishmoments.se or a partner-website is registered in connection with, eg, statistical surveys. Pixel tracking is anonymous and no personal data will be collected by the pixel. Only anonymized data regarding the navigation on VisitSweden-sites or to- and from VisitSwedens sites to partner sites are registered for statistical purposes.

The information submitted when you register for a newsletter is used by VisitSweden to target the advertisements in the newsletter. VisitSweden does not pass on this information to advertisers or any third party.
From time-to-time we may request information via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you always have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Survey information will be used to monitor or improve this website, and to improve our customer service.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer containing information. In technical terms, cookies can be divided into two types. One type saves a file permanently on your computer. The other is not stored permanently on your computer, but instead disappears when you close your web browser. The latter type is called session cookies and is used at swedishmoments.se. A session cookie is a randomly generated ID that identifies a web browser during your visit to a website, so the latter does not need to store information for many different users.
The cookies used at swedishmoments.se are not used for storing sensitive information for the purpose of recording your behavior or for any other purpose that might threaten your privacy or security.
By changing the settings on your web browser, you can avoid receiving cookies.
At swedishmoments.se we use Google Analytics to analyze how users use the site. The information that cookies collect about use (i.e. traffic data and your IP address) is stored on Google’s servers. VisitSweden uses the information to prepare reports on website activity.
Note: If the law requires it, Google can disclose information to third parties.
Google Analytics create two types of cookies: A persistent cookie that indicates whether the user is recurrent, where the user comes from, what search engine used, keywords, etc. They also use session cookies to show when and how long a user is on the site. We do not compare the IP address with other information that Google holds.
Use of Pixel Tracking
Sometimes VisitSweden uses pixel tracking, which is when a user’s visit to swedishmoments.se or a partner site is registered. Pixel tracking is anonymous, which means that no personal information is recorded or stored about the user. Only anonymous data about the user’s navigation on VisitSweden sites and on partner sites (i.e. airline sites or similar) is registered.
VisitSweden uses Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online. Third-parties, including Google, show our ads on sites across the Internet.
VisitSweden and third parties, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimise, and show ads based on a user’s past visits to swedishmoments.se and to report on how interactions with ad impressions and use of other ad services are related to visits to swedishmoments.se.
